have I failed as a friend.
2005-01-21, 11:41 p.m. have I failed as a friend, in not keeping relationships but breaking them, in not being the one you seek when things are bad? maybe in not gving you assurance when you speak, in not having your humour, in the wrongness of my tone when I speak, in the wrong signals I give. Perhaps how I play, in the way I direct, in not giving much way, in not accepting. In showing my views, by speaking my mind, by giving my all and leaving none behind. In having these dreams, in wanting them so, in not giving you reason to trust, by letting you down, perhaps I really have failed as a friend to you. -colleen |
